Marshall L. Hennington, Ph.D. received his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science from the University of California Berkeley. Received his Educational Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University in New York City, received his Master’s degree and Ph.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology with honors. Dr. Hennington published his dissertation on the relationship between substance abuse and dual diagnosis patients for treatment outcomes in an inpatient treatment setting.

As a Graduate Student Dr. Hennington worked for the Los Angeles Department of Children services where he interviewed, assessed and intervened with children who were victims of abuse. Dr. Hennington Interned in the emergency trauma unit at Martin Luther King Hospital in South Central Los Angeles where he conducted interviews and assessment on victims of gang violence. Dr. Hennington also completed his 2 year Practicum training at the prestigious Didi Hirsch Mental Health Center where he conducted both supervised individual therapy and supervised group therapy for mental health patients.

After Graduate School Dr. Hennington worked at UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute for 2 years as a Mental Health Practitioner before starting his private practice. Dr. Hennington has worked extensively with workers compensation clients who experienced issues related to depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, racism, discrimination, defamation, failure to supervise, unfair hiring practices, negligent hiring, retention and supervision.

Dr. Hennington has extensive experience administering psychological personality test and he has a thorough understanding of the EEOC labor employment related practices and procedures in the workplace.

Dr. Hennington has testified in trials involving; Discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, race, change of venue, sexual harassment, workplace bullying, sexual abuse, verbal abuse, physical abuse, employee misconduct, Police brutality, wrongful death matters and workplace violence issues.
